Are you passionate about the future of ASEAN and the Southeast Asian region? Do you have an idea of how to make a positive change in your community, but are just missing the guidance and financial assistance to make it happen?
The 2024 Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Seeds for the Future Grants Competition can help you get your idea off the ground!
Cultural Vistas and the U.S. Mission to ASEAN are pleased to announce that the YSEALI Seeds for the Future program is now receiving applications for its 2024 grant competition!
The competition is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and provides funding of up to $15,000 for the region’s promising young leaders to carry out projects that improve their communities, countries, and the region. Projects cover one of the four YSEALI themes: Civic Engagement, Economic Empowerment and Social Entrepreneurship, Education, and Environmental Issues
December 2023 marks YSEALI’s 10th anniversary. To expand the impact of the YSEALI Seeds in the region and celebrate this special anniversary, the 2024 YSEALI Seeds for the Future Grants Competition will enable young leaders to run their projects with guidance from mentors throughout their project implementation.
In 2024, YSEALI Seeds for the Future seeks to expand networks beyond this year’s grantees, who have been successfully implementing 14 projects throughout all 10 ASEAN member states and Timor-Leste. From mental health advocates in Brunei, farmers teaching data driven approaches in Laos, and teacher trainers in Timor-Leste, YSEALI Seeds for the Future wants to hear about your project idea to drive change in your community in 2024!
The important information:
