Susan Stella

Susan Stella is a seasoned senior executive with nearly two decades of leadership in investor relations within the venture capital and private equity industry. At Activate, she drives the firm’s investor engagement strategy, oversees all communications, and leads sustainability reporting efforts.

Before joining Activate, Susan served as an advisor to private equity and venture capital firms, providing strategic counsel on investor relations and marketing. Previously, she was Principal and Director of Investor Relations and Marketing at Knightsbridge Advisers, Director of the Thunderbird Global Private Equity Center, and Partner & Co-founder of Venture Archetypes, a strategic advisory firm.

Susan’s global perspective is shaped by her experience as a postgraduate fellow with the Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program in Germany, service with the U.S. Peace Corps, and work with the United Nations in Mongolia. She is a frequent speaker at industry events, a board advisor, and Chair of the Board of Directors at Cultural Vistas, a nonprofit dedicated to global exchange.

She holds a degree with honors from Drake University and an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, where she received the esteemed Barton Kyle Yount Award.
