Kirsten Burt leads a strategic consultancy based in London focusing on financial education, sustainable investing, and wealth management. She has a particular interest in helping empower female investors, having launched a global female customer program at UBS. In 2020, she helped create the 3-year strategy for the British government to improve financial wellbeing, which she presented to the board of the Pensions department.
Kirsten works extensively in the areas of sustainability, impact investing and philanthropy. Recent work includes creating the sustainable investing and philanthropy strategy for two major private banks. She is also interested in helping expat Americans navigate the financial complexities of living overseas and consults for firms that serve US Citizens abroad. Prior to founding her consultancy, she had over 20 years of experience in financial services in both the US and UK across wealth management, asset management and private banking. She sat on the Executive Committee of UBS Wealth Management in the UK for five years. Prior to UBS she held senior marketing roles at Standard Chartered, Citibank and American Express. She holds a BS from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, and an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. She participated in two overseas internship programs which helped start her global career. Kirsten has also lived in France and speaks French.
