Dr. Unaloto Lolohea Aneta Sili
Professional Fellowship Program Oceania Cohort 3 | Governance & Legal Advisor at Tonga Rugby Union
Dr. Sili is a Tongan legal scholar and governance leader with a Ph.D. in Civil and Commercial Law. She currently serves as Governance, Business Administrator and Legal Advisor for Tonga Rugby Union, where she played a pivotal role in drafting and implementing the Union’s newly adopted contemporary constitution, driving organizational reforms, and strengthening accountability. A respected advocate for gender equity in Pacific rugby and Women in Sports, she has spoken at international conferences and summits, sharing her expertise in sports law, governance, and women’s leadership.
Her accomplishments reflect a unique blend of academic excellence and practical governance experience. Beyond her professional work, Una is passionate about mentoring young women, promoting rugby as a tool for community development, and exploring Pacific history. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Despite her international influence she remains deeply committed to her roots, proudly representing her culture on the global stage and is proud to call Tonga home.
