Desanka Aleksov

Desanka Aleksov is an IAESTE alumna and was an active leader of the IAESTE Board. Having grown up in Macedonia, studied computer science in Skopje, and participated in IAESTE exchanges in Slovenia, Spain, Belgium, and at the University of Maryland, Desanka is fully committed to the work of creating opportunities for experiential learning and personal development across cultures.
Desanka is currently based in San Francisco and, after a successful career as a software engineer with over 10 years at Salesforce, she has been an effective a translator between technical and business teams, and manager. She’s now a senior director at IronClad, a start-up tech firm focused on reimagining digital contracting.
