Charles J. Alaimo

Charles is a seasoned human resources executive with extensive experience in managing HR functions across various industries. He holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Baruch College. His career began in the hospitality sector with roles at The Plaza Hotel and The New York Hilton & Towers, where he honed his skills in employment management.  He has worked in a variety of industries including luxury goods and advertising. Currently he oversees the human resources functions for a derivatives trading firm. Prior to his current role, he spent over eight years with Aceto Corporation where he led the global HR function for this publicly traded firm with locations in Asia, Europe, and the United States. During this time, he managed three acquisitions and assisted in the company’s sale to a private equity firm in 2019.  Alaimo also holds multiple HR certifications and has authored a book on HR leadership during organizational change.  In April 2024 he was awarded a Fulbright Specialist grant where he assisted an NGO based in Slovakia. Charles has hosted BridgeUSA participants in partnership with Cultural Vistas.
