Ann-Janette (A.J.) Fuentes

Ann-Janette (A.J.) Fuentes currently is the VP of Sales at Wheelhouse, a company that builds software to help individuals and teams maximize the value of their rental properties and portfolios. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU Stern School of Business. A.J. is a member of the Truman National Security Project Defense Council and serves as a member of the Cultural Vistas National Board of Directors as well as the Hispanic Heritage Foundation National Board of Directors. Previously, A.J. worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill as well as at Georgetown University and held management roles in the New York offices of Visit.org, Mobilize, LinkedIn, and American Express. She also worked at Goldman Sachs as a Private Wealth Advisor and was a Term Member at the Council of Foreign Relations. Prior to joining the private sector, Ms. Fuentes served three undercover tours with the CIA, including a tour in Afghanistan. Before joining the CIA, she was a U.S. Senate staffer with Senator Lieberman’s Governmental Affairs Committee. She has an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BA in English and Creative Writing, with a French minor from Trinity College-Hartford.
