The Atlas Corps Leadership Institute builds on the program previously implemented under a similar name by Atlas Corps, and is currently hosted by Cultural Vistas. The program continues to maintain its core mission while benefiting from the expertise and resources of Cultural Vistas. It is led by experienced staff who have been with the program since its inception, ensuring continuity and a deep understanding of its impact and goals.
Previous cohorts have included over 800 professionals from 80 countries representing diverse fields of expertise and social change missions. Participants have worked on issues ranging from public health and education to technology startups, refugee support, and architecture. Scholars bring a passion for impact and a commitment to being a leader regardless of their position.
This opportunity is best suited for emerging professionals with approximately 1-3 years of professional experience who are looking to enhance skills and build their global networks. Criteria for selection include strong English writing and speaking skills, a clearly articulated motivation for joining the program, and potential to benefit professionally from the program and its contents.
In the past, we selected approximately 50 individuals per Cohort to participate in the program. The ACLI seeks to actively engage and include the voices and perspectives of individuals from different backgrounds—and will make a great effort to provide a truly global experience for participants in each Cohort.
The ACLI is designed with flexibility in mind to accommodate the schedules of full-time professionals. The program combines self-paced learning modules with scheduled live sessions, which are recorded for participants who cannot attend in real time. Our Team will be there to support you every step of the way and ensure you can make the most out of your participation. If you have concerns about balancing work and program responsibilities, we encourage you to reach out so we can discuss how to tailor your experience to your needs.
Our goal is that scheduled video calls are held between 8 AM – 11 PM in any given time zone to accommodate participants in different parts of the globe. You can expect to receive a program syllabus with the schedule and calendar invites to live calls closer to the program start. Our call times are subject to change as we analyze participants’ time zones and attendance. While participants are encouraged to attend live sessions to make new connections within the community, you will have access to recordings of sessions if you are unable to attend live.
This program is specifically designed to strengthen the network of professionals within the Atlas Corps community. The primary focus is on fostering connections and collaborations among participants of the Atlas Corps Leadership Institute.
That said, there will be select opportunities to connect with participants from other Cultural Vistas programs through cross-program events, workshops, and community activities, providing a broader platform to expand your professional network and exchange ideas with global change-makers.

“One of the standout insights from my experience with the Atlas Corps Leadership Institute is the depth of connection and collaboration possible in a virtual setting. Despite being physically distant from other participants, I felt part of a close-knit community. The program showed me that with well-structured content and intentional design, virtual spaces can foster genuine interaction, mutual learning, and growth.”

“Atlas Corps brought me a network with many like-minded leaders around the world from my Cohort, cross-cohorts, and online webinars. Meeting with them and hearing their stories has helped me firmly believe that I am not alone; there are always many leaders out there working for a better world like me, and we are ready to support each other.”
