Cultural Vistas organized a special reception at the Art Museum of the Americas on November 14 to celebrate the intersection of art, international exchange, and cross-cultural understanding.

The museum provided the perfect setting to consider the influence of art as a vehicle for fostering mutual understanding among nations and people. Guests viewed works from Guatemalan Rodolfo Abularach and received a tour of the museum space.

The event was also an opportunity to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Alfa Fellowship Program to Russia. Alumna Karin Riechenberg, who was in the 13th group of fellows (2015-2016), and in the first cohort of German fellows, spoke about her experiences on the program during the event.
