Funded International Internship Programs to Jump-Start Your Career

Would you like to spend a year immersing yourself in German language and culture? Could gaining first-hand experience in Russia help leverage your career?

Does going abroad sound great, but you’re worried about how to pay for it?

Whatever your interests or field of expertise may be, application season is well underway for a variety of Cultural Vistas’ programs offering a little something for everyone. The following programs off international work experience and are all fully-funded or guarantee paid internship placements.

Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program

Learn German and engage with industry experts and decision-makers in this fellowship targeting later-stage career professionals.

Deadline:
November 1, 2018

Who’s eligible?
U.S. citizens 40 years of age or younger with a minimum of five years of full-time professional experience.

Cultural Vistas Fellowship

Never been abroad? The Cultural Vistas Fellowship provides full funding for undergraduate students to complete eight-week summer internship and immersion programs in Hong Kong, Germany, and Argentina.

Deadline:
November 15, 2018

Who’s eligible?
U.S. citizens between the ages of 18–30 who are full-time undergraduate students. Strong preference is given to students with limited financial means to intern abroad.

Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX)

Immerse yourself in German culture by spending a year studying the German language, honing your skills at a professional internship, and living with a German host family.

December 1, 2018

Who’s eligible?
U.S. citizens with a high school diploma between the ages of 18.5–24.

Who’s eligible?
English-speaking students enrolled in technical fields at U.S. universities. Recent graduates may also be eligible.
