Cultural Vistas Expands Leadership as Four New Members Join Board of Directors

NEW YORK – Cultural Vistas, a nonprofit organization that has facilitated skill-building international exchange programs since 1963, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bernard C. Coleman III, David Berry, Ambassador James Lambert, and Sharon Chae Haver to its Board of Directors.

The four new board members bring their diverse backgrounds and professional expertise, with careers ranging from immigration law and diplomacy to the business and the tech world.

“We are thrilled to have such outstanding individuals join the Cultural Vistas Board,” said Cultural Vistas Board Chair Karl Geercken. “Their caliber and diversity of experience and their proven commitment to international exchange programs will be great assets to the Board.”

Meet Our New Board Members

Bernard C. Coleman III
Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Uber

Bernard C. Coleman III is the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Uber where he leads all corporate diversity initiatives. He also contributes to Forbes Magazine as a member of the exclusive Forbes Coaches Council. He received his MBA in International Business from Trinity University-Washington and his BA in Psychology from Hampton University.

 

David Berry
Attorney/Partner at Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP

David Berry is a founding partner of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, one of the world’s largest law firms specializing in corporate immigration and nationality law.  David’s practice involves counseling employers to address complex immigration concerns.  He guides strategies associated with the movement of talent across the world, and helps companies and their employees to meet the challenges of global compliance. David is a former adjunct professor of immigration law, has held various leadership positions in Attorney Bar associations, and is a frequent speaker on immigration matters before professional associations, corporations, and research institutions.

 

Ambassador James Lambert
Secretary, Secretariat for Hemispheric Affairs, Organization of American States

Ambassador Lambert is the Secretary, Secretariat for Hemispheric Affairs, Organization of American States. His distinguished diplomatic career includes posts as the Canadian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Guatemala, and El Salvador and the High Commissioner to Belize.

 

Sharon Chae Haver
Principal, Client Service at Business Talent Group

Sharon Chae Haver is a Client Service Principal at Business Talent Group, where she manages and oversees projects and relationships between clients and consultants. She previously served as a senior manager at Deloitte. She received her master’s degree in public policy at Harvard Kennedy School and her bachelor’s degree in international studies and business at the University of Pennsylvania.
