Cassandra Sánchez

Cassandra is the inaugural Senior Advisor, ICDEI (Intercultural Competency, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) at Cultural Vistas. She brings over 15 years of experience in rural, suburban, and urban communities with a focus on being a bridge builder, access point, and amplifier for systemically minoritized and marginalized communities. She has worked with unaccompanied minors in Chicago and Miami, immigrant communities in rural Idaho, and with educators committed to ending the systemic inequities in US public schools. She is also the founder and principal consultant at Purposeful Disruption LLC—a DEI strategy and leadership development consulting firm where she collaborates with clients to create more equitable and inclusive leaders and workplaces.

Cassandra has spent time studying international human rights in Rome and Oxford.

She and her partner, along with their dog, Huckleberry Finn, are proud Washington, DC residents and look forward to the day it becomes the 51^st state.
