Washington D.C. (November 10, 2020) – Cultural Vistas greatest strength is the diversity of our global network. The New Vistas Dialogues series convene our international leaders on critical topics to both discuss the issues affecting our world and help forge new vistas through collaboration.
As we look towards a post-pandemic world, a few things are certain: Life has become digital and one of the biggest threats we will continue to face is a global health crisis set off by a microscopic pathogen.
Join us to look at how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital platforms will change our personal and communal experience with our health on November 19 at 12 p.m. EST. Register today for the virtual discussion on Zoom.
The conversation will be moderated by Rekha Grennan, who joined the Cultural Vistas’ Board of Directors in June of this year, bringing over 20 years of global, cross-sector experience leading collaborations in government, start-up, non-profit and corporate enterprises for global development, health and social innovation. Previously, Rekha held a variety of leadership roles at Cisco Systems, Inc., Pfizer Inc., Johnson & Johnson, Inc., and the U.S. Agency for International Development. At Pfizer, she managed several signature initiatives including a $1 billion global disease elimination partnership with the World Health Organization and the Global Health Fellows program.
She will be joined by Dominick Kennerson, Global Head of Bayer’s G4A team. Dominick developed his earlier career experiences in lab research, hospitals, digital health start-ups and healthcare investment banking. He stepped onto the international healthcare stage as a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow in 2010. In his current role he supports one of the industry’s leading platforms for digital health partnership to “change the experience of health”—and put people at the center of managing their health in the digital age.
Cultural Vistas corporate partner and 2019 Corporate Leadership Award Winner, Siemens Healthineers, Sr. Director of R&D – Tommaso Mansi, Ph.D will also join the expert panel. Dr. Mansi leads an award-winning team with a focus on artificial intelligence for image-guided interventions, computational physiology for patient-specific simulations and medical robotics.
The discussion will highlight new ideas or “vistas” in healthcare and give the audience an opportunity to ask questions of the expert panel. Cultural Vistas participants, alumni, corporate partners and supporters, both in and out of the field of health, are encouraged to join and bring their perspectives to the discussion. Register here.
