Services and Fees
Cultural Vistas provides personalized support to participants during the application process, throughout the program in Germany, and after returning home. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to remaining an affordable option for students and young professionals looking to enhance their careers while living abroad.
Cultural Vistas' Internship Program in Germany offers:
- Application process assistance including help drafting a Lebenslauf (German resume)
- Internship placement in target field with a German host company
- Pre-departure information mailing
- Financial assistance via the Cultural Vistas Scholarship Fund (apply separately)
- Health insurance (optional)
- Work authorization services
- Enrollment in language course (optional)
- Housing assistance
- Support throughout the program in Germany and the United States
- Re-entry information about marketing work experience abroad in the United States
The program fee for the Internship Program in Germany is $775, which includes a non-refundable $75 application fee. Applications are reviewed only after the application fee has been received. Please note that we will only process payments from qualified applicants.

"My experience working as an intern in Madrid this summer was nothing short of lifechanging. I have a newfound awareness of myself, my country, and the world, which will continue to deepen and evolve. Leaving my internship and returning to the States, I see my future career developing before me. I now understand the workings of an NGO, and working in Public Affairs. I felt comfortable in this type of office, and really enjoyed the type of work I was doing.
After graduation, I am going to seek work once again with an NGO focused on immigration, before beginning Graduate studies in Public Affairs or International Diplomacy. Being that Spain was my first experience outside the United States, I now know I can independently travel, and want to continue."
